I feel an overwhelming feeling of welcome and acceptance at First Church. I have always felt a little self conscious and out of place at church but here I feel I can be myself and enjoy the warmth and love that is always present. I love the family atmosphere at First Church and I feel very at home with everyone there!  Dan  

I have walked out of churches because I felt underdressed. I have peeked into a sanctuary before I opened the door and they all looked like models in the best of clothes. I had on my best but it was nowhere near what they had on! So I left. It was like a contest to see who could out do the other. First Church is not like that. It is comfortable. I wear my jeans and sometimes I dress up. No one cares what you wear and they do not judge you. They just love and accept you for who you are. They are one big, happy family. We all have sinned, so no one is any better than the other. Anyway, who are we to judge?

First Church has a heart for kids and teens and they are understanding and care about the feelings of others. There is always acceptance for everyone, no matter where you come from or what you have done... or what has been done to you! There is a lot of LOVE!  Carla
